Questions

Things to consider :

Who is your audience?

What do you want to say about your business? What is the message you want to convey?

Will you be selling products? If yes, are we talking thousands of products, or just a few?

Do you want to keep adding photos/images/products on an ongoing basis? Are you confident to do this, or do you want on-going support?

Are you going to add a blog?

Don’t worry – when I hand over your site, I can make you some short tutorials that cover things like creating a new page, adding images, or adding a new post (if you’re blogging). There’s no extra charge for this service. And it will be done using YOUR site, so you can see exactly what to do, not a generic instruction. Let me know if you think that will be helpful for you, so I can have them ready.

You want to be sure that whichever type of site you decide to create, it is attractive and easy to navigate on a wide variety of devices. That’s MY job. You tell me the type of image you want to project, I take it from there. If you decide you would like a quote, I will send you a questionnaire which is specifically aimed at the type of industry or website/blog that you are enquiring about, to reduce the amount of questions you have to answer.

Remember – this is about YOU. I’m asking questions now to save you time later. I will ask you to look around, and tell me what you like, and what you don’t like. That’s important. If you’re a Tradie, you want to show people the great work you do, tell them they should hire you…maybe show them some examples of your excellent results. If you’re a Personal Trainer, your site needs to encourage people to be the best they can be, you want a different set of pages from, say, the cake shop around the corner. The questions will narrow down what message you want to convey, and what sort of images you want displayed – and how.

On the other hand, maybe you just want a hand to set up a personal blog – I can help with that too. It won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and you’ll definitely benefit from some short tutorials in that case.
